Welcome to Second Spotlight! Buying gently-used dance costumes, shoes, and accessories is simple & secure.

How It Works

  1. Browse the collection
    Visit All Items or browse by category—Costumes, Shoes, or Accessories. Use filters to narrow by size, style, and more.
  2. Ask a question (optional)
    Need extra info? Use the Ask a Question box on the product page (the seller’s reply is posted publicly).
  3. Add to cart
    Select quantity (note that some items may have a minimum quantity) and click Add to Cart.
  4. Checkout & pickup notes
    In your cart, click Checkout. In the Pickup Instructions box, add any timing or meeting-spot preferences, then complete payment.
  5. Payment Methods & Authorization
    • Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal.
    • Your payment is held as "Authorized" but not completed yet.
    • Please note: You have a time limit to meet the seller before the order is cancelled automatically by the payment issuer, so please be prepared to commit to meeting the seller.

  6. Coordinate pickup
    Watch your email—your seller will contact you directly to set a convenient hand-off time and place. Your email address is only released to the seller once you pay.
  7. Payment release
    After the seller confirms that you have received the item, we release payment to them within 48 hours. We’ll step in first to resolve problems quickly, but you also keep your normal card / PayPal dispute rights.
